Microsoft, here in the Bay Area, is happy to announce “Express Yourself” at 111 Minna on June 22nd. Doors open at 6:00pm.
One of the strengths of Microsoft’s UX platform (Expression, Silverlight, WPF, et al) is the designer/developer workflow. With this in mind, we’ve asked 5 of the many talented design firms to send us their best designer / developer pairs to compete for eternal glory, also known as an xBox 360 and many, many games each.
Each team will present their solution in a 10 minute demonstration on the 22nd to our panel of judges. The judges include:
- Bill Scott of Yahoo! fame
- Andrew Crow of Adaptive Path
- Jeff Herman of eBay
Where do you come in, might you ask? Well, what’s the point of having a contest and party if there are no attendees. We’ve got food, drinks and a DJ for the party.
Join us for a great evening of design, food and music. Looking forward to seeing you there!
updated 5.24 - added link to DJ’s site

Great idea, MS should do more events like this!
So, I think the MS judge should be from out of town. Hint.
